Welcome to my kitchen, we’re changing the scenery today. Rather than dresses and heels, we’re going to talk about healthy treats, good ingredients and little bits of skincare, with a Prozis unboxing not quite like the others. It’s an order designed for cooking better and taking better care of myself, with a few products I’m trying for the first time. The brand is Portuguese, everything is made in Porto, and I’m giving you my opinion straight, as always, even when it isn’t perfect. Let’s unpack it together.
The good ingredients for healthy cooking
Let’s start with what really changes the contents of the cupboards.
Wraps, chia seeds and xylitol
The vegan cereal wraps are a little marvel of practicality, ten seconds in the microwave, a few vegetables or a bit of chicken, a Mexican sauce, and the meal is ready. Chia seeds, those filling superfoods, slip into a plant-based milk, a yoghurt or a salad, ideal when you’re watching what you eat. And xylitol advantageously replaces white sugar in baking, without its harmful effects. Real everyday allies.
Well-being and supplements
Next come the things that support body and mind.
Ashwagandha, rhodiola and collagen
I got some ashwagandha, which I’m trying to calm myself and sleep better, because I’m someone fairly tense. Rhodiola, for its part, remains my essential for concentration, one capsule a day and I feel a real difference when I work. Marine collagen powder, I drink it almost every day, because we produce less and less of it as we age. An honest little downside, the arginine tablets are huge and hard to swallow, even cut in half.
The skincare, gently priced and well chosen
On the cosmetics side, I keep it simple, but loyal.
Hand cream, scrub and face cream
A little tube of hand cream slipped into the bag, essential in winter when the skin feels tight, a sea salt body scrub with a fresh ocean scent, and a collagen face cream, whose texture that isn’t sticky and gentle baby-cream scent I love. I’ve also adopted a chamomile dermo-soothing shampoo, which soothes the scalp in times of stress. Honestly, the coconut scrub had convinced me less, so I’m waiting to see about this one.
Eat well, feel well
So there’s this selection turned towards healthy cooking and self-care, with all the little adjustments that involves without frustration. It’s another side of my daily life, less glamorous perhaps, but just as important in my eyes. My code is CAROFIT10 for -10% across the whole site, I’m leaving it for you as always.
