Right, I’m going to make a confession, and I know you’ll understand me. I’m sure you’ve already regretted an evening, not because it was a flop, but because you spent the night in agony in your heels… the famous blisters, bare feet under the table at two in the morning, and the famous “goodbye heels, never again”. I knew that for years, telling myself it was the price to pay for a pretty leg line. And then I stopped believing it. The real question, in the end, isn’t only finding comfortable heels, it’s knowing how to wear them, how to pair them, how to bring them out at the right moment. That’s exactly what I wanted to talk to you about today (and yes, I had a bit of a cold the day of filming, we make do).

A little buckle that changes everything
On the top of the foot, a fine buckle dresses up the whole thing, held by a fastening fixed to the sole. And if you fancy a more pared-back silhouette, you remove it, and you find yourself with a plain heel. I find this detail of a rather rare delicacy, because in practice, it gives you two pairs in one, one for the office in a sober format, the other, buckle back on, for a slightly dressier lunch. The platform at the front brings stability, and the breathable fabric does the rest.
How I pair it
For work, I wear it with straight trousers and a flowing shirt, buckle removed, a clean line. For an outing, I put the buckle back, I add a midi dress, and the same shoe suddenly tells a different story. That’s the whole point of a piece designed like a chameleon, it adapts to you, and not the other way round.
Look 2, the pointed-toe stiletto for special occasions
Here’s my favourite, and honestly, I don’t know which shoe wouldn’t be one from this brand. An extremely refined design, an 8.5 cm stiletto heel, and that pointed toe that refines the whole silhouette.

A small adjustable buckle guarantees a perfect hold, the supple sole hugs the arch of the foot, and the brand even slips in some extra little cushions to insert if you want to soften the contact further. A detail I love, the dual fabric, with that breathable material at the front and leather on the sides, which brings a sophisticated touch. It’s exactly the kind of heel I’d have dreamed of having for that famous wedding.
How I pair it
This is my elegant evening pair, the one I bring out with a sheath dress or a well-cut suit. For women who have a position to represent, it also works very well at the office, as long as you dare a little height. Personally, I keep it for the moments when I want to own the room with style.
Look 3, the black ankle-strap heels to dare anything
We finish with the boldest model, plain black heels, the Color Stripes Pump, with a fine strap that wraps around the ankle.
The strap that lengthens the leg
This strap isn’t just a style detail, it brings real support and shows off the leg. We find the play of materials again, breathable fabric at the front, leather at the back of the heel, and I find this contrast lengthens the silhouette even more. It was, very honestly, the pair I was missing, I had no closed black heels in my dressing room, only open sandals. There it is, that little gap filled.
How I pair it
Black is elegant ease. I wear it just as well with raw jeans and a blazer as with a floral dress, where the dark heel anchors a colourful outfit. It’s the go-anywhere pair, the one that saves a silhouette when you’re still hesitating in front of the mirror.
Three pairs, three ways of being elegant
If I had to sum up, these are three ways of approaching elegance without ever giving up comfort, the two-in-one for everyday, the stiletto for the big occasions, the black strap for everything else.
