Well, let’s start with what distinguishes us from the “Prozis reviews” pages found elsewhere: we visited the factories in Porto. Not just a superficial visit, we saw the textile part and a good portion of the supplement production. And frankly, it changes the way you look at the catalog. Prozis manufactures almost everything from A to Z in-house, which explains a lot about the prices and the consistency of quality from one order to another. It’s a Portuguese brand, and everything starts from there, and when you live in the Algarve, you’re right in the front row.
So who is Prozis, really?
You can read dozens of Prozis reviews without ever finding the answer, so here it is.
It is a Portuguese company, founded in 2006 by Miguel Milhão. He was twenty-three, a competitive swimmer who kept getting injured, and he found sports nutrition expensive and hard to come by in Portugal. To get started he sold the car his father had just given him, which gave him 25,000 euros of seed money.
Headquarters are in Esposende today, the supplement plant covers around 14,000 m² in Póvoa de Lanhoso near Braga, and the brand has grown into one of the largest sports nutrition retailers in Europe. The catalogue long ago outgrew nutrition: food, snacks, sportswear, cosmetics.
That is exactly what we went to check on site.
What we really repurchase, order after order
The list is short, and that’s precisely what makes it credible. After several years, what remains in the cart can be counted on one hand.
The chocolate-hazelnut granola
The indispensable one. It has been occupying my pantry for two and a half years now, and we can’t do without it. Chocolate, hazelnut, to throw into yogurt or a bowl, and it’s sorted. If you were to test just one product, it would probably be this one.
The crunchy hazelnut cream
This one is truly hard to find in supermarkets, and that’s what makes us recommend it. Spread on a homemade waffle made in three minutes, it replaces an industrial spread without feeling deprived.
The marine collagen with red fruits
One dose per day, whether you’re an athlete or not. The body produces less and less after twenty-five, so it might as well be pleasant to drink. It also comes in a peach version, which is the one that comes back in winter orders.
The powdered skyr, the product you need to try yourself
This one deserves its own paragraph because it divides opinions, and we prefer to say it honestly. The principle is clever: fifteen servings in a jar, which you reconstitute on demand, three scoops for 100 to 120 ml of water. When you consume skyr in a pot every week, the savings are real. As for the texture, let’s be clear: it’s a bit grainy for a liquid yogurt, and you need to be warned. The vanilla flavor compensates greatly, the portion obtained is generous enough to easily be split in two, but it’s typically the product you need to taste yourself rather than trust a review. The combination that works: reconstituted skyr plus a spoonful of granola. You get a snack that’s filling, with significantly less sugar than a classic dessert.

So, today it is Wildy Caro in Fit Girl mode welcoming you, and we are opening together a fairly enormous Prozis parcel... the kind of parcel where you wonder, as...
Lire la suiteThe textile, the part we saw being made
This is where the factory visit really serves a purpose, because we saw how it’s made. The important criterion for sportswear is neither the cut nor the color, it’s whether the material allows sweat to pass through. The entire range breathes well, and that’s precisely what separates a legging you keep from one that ends up at the bottom of the drawer. After several seasons of washing, the leggings and tops hold up, which is the least you can expect from sportswear, but not everyone manages that. Two standout pieces: the Iron Mode shorts, loose-fitting, which meet a real need for those who don’t feel comfortable in tight-fitting clothes, and the black legging with its side elastics that slightly shape. A little bit of accepted cheating.
Our real difficulty with Prozis
It’s a bit paradoxical, and it’s the most honest remark we can make after all these years: we struggle to find what we haven’t already tested. After ordering so much, we’ve covered large parts of the catalog. This means two things for you. First, that recent unboxings will necessarily focus on new products or more niche categories, not on the basics. Secondly, you shouldn’t take our word for a specific product released last month: the catalog is immense, and no one can cover it all.
The rest of the box, over the seasons
In no particular order, what has passed through the house and left a mark: sugar-free chocolate chips, which were used for a brioche, protein wraps that save dinner ideas, goji berries, banana chips, rhodiola for stress, a brownie premix, creatine, and even a vitamin C face serum that we absolutely didn’t expect in a sports nutrition order. The logic behind all this is never about depriving oneself, it’s about replacing. A snack transformed by banana chips, white sugar replaced by sugar-free chocolate chips, an industrial cream replaced by a smarter hazelnut cream.
How to order without making a mistake
Three reflexes, drawn from experience and not from a marketing sheet.
Order big, but rarely. Shipping costs and discounts work in the same direction, so a large order is better than four small ones.
Keep a base and test only one new product. This is the rule that avoids half-opened boxes: we stick to what has proven itself, and we add only one unknown.
Check the promotion category before filling the cart. Prozis rotates its promotions by category, one week for groceries, the next for proteins. And since our code CAROFIT10 combines with these promotions, the -10% are added on top of the already displayed discount: access the Prozis store. A word on delivery times, because we are often asked and it would be dishonest to respond: we are in Portugal, a few hours’ drive from their warehouses, so our delivery times mean nothing for a French customer. We prefer not to give a number rather than provide a false one.
So, is Prozis worth it or not
Yes, as long as you know what you’re looking for. It’s a very good site for smart groceries and sports textiles, and it’s a brand whose factory we have seen, which matters when reading reviews written without having opened anything. What remains the most telling, when you think about it, is that a jar of chocolate-hazelnut granola is still in the pantry two and a half years after the first one. PS. The product that surprises people the most on this list is never the whey or creatine… it’s the hazelnut cream.
